Getting-ready can be a family affair
celebrate in style, surrounded by loved ones
Meet Taylor, our feature Bride and Parlour wedding for October!
When Taylor got engaged, she didn’t hesitate to book Top Knot for her wedding hair and makeup. And to take the stress out of her getting-ready morning, she also booked the Parlour for her bridal party to get ready together while enjoying the many amenities of the space.
Surrounded by her closest besties and loved ones, how could the day start off any better?
Oh, but it did! Read on…
CELEBRATING TOGETHER
The day of Taylor’s wedding, she and her bridal party had a fantastic time getting ready with the Top Knot team at the Parlour. For Taylor, bringing in her best friends and family was important. She wanted everyone to feel included, pampered and beautiful. A splash of bubbly took the edge off any lingering stress and soon, the excitement began!
A SPECIAL VISIT FROM DAD
Dress on and look completed, Taylor glanced in the mirror and saw that her makeup and hairstyle defied her expectations…. and she also saw a surprise visitor - her dad!
Traditionally, dad’s roles in weddings were walking his daughter down the aisle, giving a speech at the reception (and probably paying some bills.) Getting ready on the day of the wedding has always been considered sacred time for brides with their bridesmaids and mothers. But as the definition of family has changed over the years, so have the so-called rules surrounding who can be a part of the experience.
So dads, come on down!
There’s no one who can make a daughter feel more precious and beautiful than dad. He was so impressed with the updos, hairstyles and makeup that somehow made each member of the bridal party even more beautiful.
Everything came together so well and best of all, the looks held great until the end of the night (even though Dad couldn’t make it past midnight!).
The Parlour difference
The Top Knot Parlour was an incredible getting-ready venue, so much so, that Taylor said she couldn’t have imagined a better place to get ready.
