Meet Kate our feature Bride and Parlour wedding for January!

When Kate & her now-husband Eric got engaged and started planning, it was a no-brainer that they wanted Top Knot to host her getting ready morning at The Parlour!

“One visit there and I knew this was our get-ready location. EVERYTHING we could even dream of needing would be taken care of – gorgeous well-lit space to do hair and make up, ample room for everyone, a fabulous area downstairs to get changed and ready with steamers, big mirrors and lots of light. To top it all off, they provided a menu of delicious items to choose from to make everything super easy.”

no one likes a hangry bride

“As a bride-to-be and a past bridesmaid 7 times over, there is literally nothing worse than getting glammed up and wondering what’s for lunch! If you’re like me, you can’t do anything well if you’re hungry. I was able to pick breakfast, mimosa bars, coffee, tea, water, and lunch all for my entire bridal party that the Top Knot girls would have delivered and take care of so all we needed to do was show up with our dresses on the big day”

After securing her booking, she was anxiously anticipating her hair and makeup trial appointment months later. She did admit that she was nervous that the wedding look she visioned would come to life as she imagined. We took time to do a thorough consult, going over inspiration photos, and after trying different variations we landed on a look that complimented Kate’s natural beauty, enhanced her features all while keeping her bridal look classic, fun yet timeless!

“Chrissy nailed it, and I was able to relax for the next few weeks leading up to the big day knowing that my hair and make up were taken care of. I am pretty hard on myself, but I had never felt as pretty as I did on that day before in my life”

the big day

September 25th was the big day, and Kate and her girls showed up at The Parlour with a ready display of champagne, mimosas, adorable wedding-themed EVERYTHING, breakfast, and huge smiles from our team!

Any of the stress or anxieties Kate had quickly faded, with the assistance of ample tummy remedies ready for those excited nerves (not our first rodeo!)

To say Kate and her party had a blast is a massive understatement! They were able to sit back and relax, get pampered all while blasting their favorite tunes into a rose gold bluetooth karaoke microphone! These ladies sure know how to have a good time, all while looking absolutely fabulous!

“I cannot imagine getting ready for my wedding anywhere else – it was so easy, so fun, and so stylish. The Parlour made for a gorgeous backdrop for getting ready photos with our photographer – I would say some of my favorite pics came from Top Knot. Top Knot made everyone feel so special, listened to what everyone wanted and the looks they were hoping to achieve, and really knocked it out of the park. I cannot say enough great things about our experience, and I couldn’t recommend TK, the girls, and getting ready at the parlour more. It felt like a wedding gift to myself!
